This 1928 hillside Spanish reflects the owner's desire to fill her home with color, pattern and dear family pieces including the artworks of her young daughter. The salon-style wall in the living room holds vintage artworks, important drawings, and a drip-painting made in pre-school, removing all fussiness and infusing whimsy and humor into the collection. Dotted throughout the home are works by emerging artists from the U.S. and abroad obtained directly from the artists in most instances. Also included are fleamarket finds, re-framed, and given equal billing with more recognizable oils and watercolors.
